Established in 2006 my client provides a dedicated high quality liability claims investigation and handling service. The company employs 50 plus staff based at their various offices throughout the UK.Due to growth they are now looking for a Desktop Claims Handler' to join their small team situated in their Kent Office. A minimum of 3 years claims handling experience in EL, PL and Product liability claims would be advantageous, but not essential. Working knowledge of property claims and motor claims would also be advantageous.Key Responsibilities
* Reviewing and understanding insurance policy terms and conditions.
* Manage all incoming claims from first notification of loss through to decision and settlement via all key customer communication channels including Telephone and Email.
* Communicate with claimants throughout the claim process to provide regular updates and advise them on the status, request additional information and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
* Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on the status and outcome of claims.
* Using internal and external claims administration systems to regularly update the status of all claims and ensure the information is kept up to date at all times.
* Maintain and manage claims reports and ensure all claims data and statistics are accurate and produced in accordance with SLAs.
