About the role Based in Christchurch, you’ll provide warm, practical clinical leadership while still maintaining your own caseload. You’ll work closely with Service Leads, Team Leads and the Regional Manager to nurture a positive team culture, champion best practice, and keep our vocational services running smoothly across Canterbury. You’ll set the tone for high standards of care, ensuring decisions are grounded in evidence, ethics, and client-centred thinking. You’ll support your team to deliver quality over shortcuts, encourage thoughtful clinical reasoning, and ensure every recommendation is made with the client’s long-term wellbeing and sustainable outcomes in mind. Driving continuous improvement, reflective practice, and consistency across the region will be a key part of your impact. You’re an experienced, registered health professional with: A relevant tertiary qualification and current APC At least 5 years’ experience in the rehabilitation sector Strong ACC operational and vocational rehabilitation knowledge A collaborative leadership style grounded in integrity and sound clinical judgement The confidence to challenge constructively and advocate for best-practice care Excellent stakeholder engagement and written communication skills A current driver's licence Postgraduate study (completed or in progress) and active professional memberships required under ACC contracts will set you up well in this role.
