Position Description
Summary
This position provides support for General Education and Assessment. Responsibilities include calendar and schedule management, meeting preparation, file management, communication with faculty, staff, and students, and administrative support projects. The position also oversees student worker(s).
Minimum Education and Experience
* Associates Degree and/or specialized training
* 2-3 years of administrative support experience
Preferred Skills and Characteristics
* Professional communication skills, including writing, editing, speaking, and comprehension
* Ability to communicate effectively across departments and with various constituencies
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Expert proficiency in Outlook, Banner, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
* Ability to work independently on complex projects
* Development and implementation of electronic filing systems
* High level of confidentiality and professionalism
* Basic understanding of compliance and regulations in higher education

Primary Duties
1. Implement best practices for calendar management and scheduling, including Outlook
2. Arrange meetings and travel, and manage schedule adjustments
3. Use Microsoft Office and Banner to plan and complete projects
4. Manage annual projects such as enrollment tracking, compliance forms, and hiring processes
5. Prepare memos and written communications
6. Organize materials electronically and physically
7. Edit and update web pages
8. Maintain files systematically
9. Coordinate office billings and assist with budgets
10. Oversee and assign tasks to student employees
11. Maintain a professional demeanor and workspace
12. Assist with assessment events and linkage of assignments
13. Maintain consistent attendance
