TheCommunitySafetyOfficerplaysakeyroleinpromotingasafe,welcoming,andresilientenvironmentacrosstheSwindonBoroughCouncilarea.Workingaspartofafrontlineteam,theofficerconductshigh-visibilitypatrols,engageswithresidentsandbusinesses,andsupportseffortstoreduceanti-socialbehaviour,environmentalcrime,andcommunityconcerns.Therolecombinesenforcement,problemsolving,andcommunityengagementtoimprovequalityoflifeforlocalpeople.
KeyResponsibilities
Patrolling&Visibility
* Conductregularfootandvehiclepatrolsacrossneighbourhoods,parks,towncentres,andprioritylocations.
* Provideavisibleandreassuringpresencetodeteranti-socialbehaviour,crime,andnuisanceactivity.
* Monitorhotspotsandreportemergingissuestosupervisorsandpartneragencies.
CommunityEngagement
* Buildpositiverelationshipswithresidents,businesses,schools,andcommunitygroups.
