DP Goodwin Group is a growing and reputable electrical contractor delivering high-quality installations across new build, domestic and residential developments. With a strong pipeline of projects across the South East, we are looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to support our continued expansion.
The Role
As Electrical Contracts Manager, you will oversee multiple projects across new build housing, domestic, and residential sites. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
This is a hands-on management role requiring strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and excellent client-facing skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing multiple electrical contracts from pre-start through to completion
* Overseeing site teams, subcontractors, and supervisors
* Ensuring compliance with current regulations and company standards
* Conducting site visits, inspections, and progress meetings
* Managing project budgets, variations, and valuations
* Liaising with clients, developers, and main contractors
* Ensuring all works comply with BS 7671 and relevant legislation
* Supporting testing, inspection, and certification processes
Essential Requirements
* 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (essential)
* Proven experience managing electrical contracts within new build and residential sectors
* Strong knowledge of current Wiring Regulations
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable
* SMSTS or SSSTS
* ECS/CSCS card
* Experience working with housing developers and principal contractors
