Manufacturing Engineering Manager – Printed Circuit Assembly (PCA)

We're seeking a dynamic Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the development and execution of cutting-edge, cost-effective strategies for printed circuit assembly. This pivotal role ensures seamless new product introduction, operational excellence, and sustained technological leadership across our global Vacuum Technique divisions.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement advanced PCA manufacturing strategies aligned with industry best practices.
* Lead OEE performance across manufacturing and test cells, ensuring timely support and continuous improvement.
* Strengthen and grow a high-performing engineering team through recruitment, development, and coaching.
* Oversee capital investment planning, cost-centre budgeting, and resource deployment to meet KPIs.
* Ensure standardised NPI processes (DFMEA, PFMEA, AOI, pick-to-light, etc.) across all teams.
* Champion shop floor optimisation and manufacturability standards for new product integration.
* Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning across the engineering function.

1. 🎓 Required Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.
* Proven expertise in lean manufacturing and electronics production processes.
* Deep understanding of surface-mount and through-hole technologies, PFMEA/DFMEA, and MRP systems (SAP preferred).
* Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
🌟 Desired Qualifications
* Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
* Experience with MES systems.
* Lean Six Sigma accreditation.
