Key Responsibilities:
• Process purchase orders, invoices and payments accurately
• Maintain up-to-date financial records and filing systems
• Assist with reconciliation of accounts and financial transactions
• Record income and support banking procedures where required
• Liaise with suppliers and respond to finance-related queries
• Support budget monitoring and reporting processes
• Ensure compliance with school finance procedures and audit requirements
• Assist with procurement administration and documentation
• Work closely with the School Business Manager and finance team
• Provide administrative support related to financial operations
Requirements:
• Previous experience in a finance, accounts or administrative role
• Strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to manage confidential information professionally
• Good IT skills, including Excel and financial software
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Clear communication skills and a professional manner
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in a school or education setting is desirable but not essential
• A finance-related qualification would be advantageous
