Job Title: Lecturer Acting for Stage and ScreenSalary: Commencing at £34,823 with progression to £39,170 Pro Rata per annumClosing Date: 2025-11-09About the RoleLeeds Conservatoire are recruiting for Lecturers in Acting Stage and ScreenYou will be joining a dynamic and collaborative Performing Arts team that delivers high-quality training across Acting, Musical Theatre, and Actor Musician pathways. The salary will be pro rata and based on the hours available. We’ll discuss the expected hours in more detail at the interview stage.What You Will DoTeach and support students across Acting, Musical Theatre, and Actor Musician courses on modules including Acting Process and Practitioners, Acting Technique, Research for Performance, Screen ActingPlan and deliver engaging, practice-based sessions informed by your professional experience.Provide constructive feedback and tutorial support to help students develop confidence, technique, and critical reflection.Contribute to assessment design and moderation.Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student experience.Maintain awareness of current professional and pedagogic practices in acting and screen performance.About YouExperienced actor or practitioner with a strong professional background in stage and/or screen performance.
