Job title: Principal Control & Instrumentation Engineer

What you’ll be doing:
* Develop a functional design for the Vehicle Control solution for SSNA.
* Coordinate with stakeholders to oversee the delivery of the vehicle control solution and strategy.
* Support assurance activities in collaboration with the Office of the Chief Engineer.
* Work with the engineering manager to deliver the vehicle control system, reporting progress via agile tools.
* Ensure timely delivery of the engineering plan.
* Guide the engineering team on methods and processes.
* Develop technical solutions with the Engineering Delivery Team, fostering team development.
* Engage with legacy stakeholders to develop solutions from baseline designs.
Your skills and experiences:
* Experience in designing large-scale C&I systems, meeting functional and industry standards.
* Managing non-functional requirements like EMC and shock, ensuring compliance.
* Proficiency in authoring and reviewing design documents (I/O schedules, specifications, interface documents).
* Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Physics, Math, or Science.
* Understanding of control system architecture and communication protocols (RS-485, PROFIBUS).
