Service Delivery Manager - Collections
Grade: 5.1
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Location: Marsh Road Depot, 4/7 Marsh Road, HA0 1ES

What you'll be doing
* Organise resources (people, vehicles, equipment) to prioritize well-being and service to customers
* Ensure training and competency checks for all roles
* Monitor operational performance, follow up on complaints, solve operational challenges
* Deliver a first-time collection culture and meet contractual performance KPIs
* Lead people & assets to deliver/exceed service expectations
* Build excellent relationships with client officers and residents
* Ensure operations align with Veolia Minimum Requirements and improvement plans
* Investigate safety incidents, underperformance and disciplinary incidents
What we're looking for
Essential
* Experience working as part of a team with good communication and leadership skills
* Valid full UK driver’s licence
* IT skills and experience in a similar environment
* Understanding of health & safety at work and experience of protocols
* Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements
* Strong understanding of waste handling, disposal and recycling processes
* Excellent project management and organizational skills
* Strong attention to detail and record-keeping abilities
Desirable
* HGV driving licence
* IOSH training
* Experience in waste management operations
