A well-known FTSE company operating on a global scale is seeking a proactive and highly organised individual to join their Legal and Governance team as a Board Support and Governance Coordinator. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of board and committee governance, while also providing high-level executive support to the General Counsel and Company Secretary.
Your responsibilities:
* Supporting the effective operation of Board and Committee governance, including coordinating meeting logistics, preparing agendas, minutes, and board packs, and liaising with senior stakeholders.
* Maintaining governance calendars, statutory records, and supporting regulatory filings.
* Providing high-level executive assistance to the General Counsel and Company Secretary.
* Implementing and monitoring governance policies, ensuring compliance, and supporting internal audits.
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion are essential.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in governance and board support within a corporate or legal environment, with a strong understanding of corporate governance frameworks and company secretarial practices. Excellent organisational and communication skills, discretion, and professionalism are required. Experience as an EA to senior board members is beneficial.
