DhBorders Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Electrician on behalf of our client based in the Selkirk area.
You will be carrying out a range of electrical work across occupied and void properties, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard and in line with current regulations.
Responsibilities
* General electrical maintenance and repairs
* Inspection, testing, and fault finding
* Installation of electrical systems, fixtures, and fittings
* Ensuring compliance with current electrical regulations (18th Edition)
* Working in domestic and communal environments
* Providing a professional service when interacting with residents and site contacts
Requirements
* Qualified Electrician (SVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification essential
* Experience in inspection and testing (2391 or equivalent preferred)
* Valid ECS/CSCS card
* Full UK driving licence
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
