Maintenance Engineer
Location: Near Andover
Salary: £38ph
Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
1. To carry out preventative maintenance programmes on all machinery and equipment ensuring they are kept to high standard and always ready for use.
2. To work closely with management to ensure all maintenance work is prioritised correctly and carried out in a timely manner
3. Fault diagnose equipment to determine corrective actions
4. Carry out repairs to electrical and mechanical equipment, to minimise impact of downtime.
5. Work to ensure that incoming parts are fitted as soon as possible when delivered, closing out 'temporary' repairs with long term fixes to acceptable standards
6. Assist with sourcing and ordering spare parts
7. Establish and maintain an efficient stock of essential parts, using good stock control techniques
8. Maintain accurate, up-to-date maintenance documentation, following good documentation practices and keeping Site Manager updated on maintenance progress on site
9. To ensure any breakdowns or problems are resolved Safely, quickly and efficiently, using the resources available
10. Be a part of a 24/7 callout service in conjunction with the rest of the maintenance team.
