The Senior Business Analyst will act as a subject matter expert, leveraging advanced knowledge to lead complex projects, influence strategic direction, and drive innovative business and technology solutions. They will mentor others and represent the organization.
Responsibilities of the Senior Business Analyst:
1. Act as a liaison between client and technical teams, using excellent communication skills to elicit, document, analyze, and validate requirements.
2. Apply industry-specific expertise to recommend, develop, enhance, and maintain client business systems, processes, and products using mature methods, processes, and tools.
3. Combine industry expertise with IT understanding to develop innovative solutions.
4. Influence the strategic direction of clients.
5. Lead analysis teams on large projects.
6. Manage requirements and change management processes.
7. Develop visualization and user experience elements of solution design.
8. Build and maintain relationships to manage scope, schedules, budgets, and expectations.
9. Lead business studies and present findings to senior management.
10. Participate in proposals, feasibility studies, and new business activities.
11. Use industry knowledge and client relationships to assess business implications of technology and identify new opportunities.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst, with proven leadership in complex projects and strategy across multiple teams.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Expertise in process improvements and policy setting.
* Representation of the organization to external stakeholders.
* Deep understanding of business analysis principles across domains.
* Extensive knowledge of Agile and scaling methodologies.
* Understanding of organizational dynamics and change management.
* Knowledge of product portfolio management and strategic planning.
* Exceptional leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
* Strong communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution skills.
* Ability to align cross-team efforts and resolve dependencies.
* Influence on product strategy and organizational decision-making.
