Job Description:

Role Overview: As a Graduate Failure Analysis Engineer, you will investigate and analyze product failures to identify root causes and develop solutions. This entry-level position is suitable for recent graduates with a strong engineering background and a passion for problem-solving.
General Responsibilities:
1. Participate in evaluating the electrical and mechanical characteristics of systems and components to determine failure causes, including verifying analogue and digital performance.
2. Assist in analyzing failure reports and recommend corrective actions. Develop methods and procedures to improve failure analysis processes.
3. Participate in product returns and conduct failure analysis.
4. Meet and exceed internal and external Service Level Agreements.
5. Maintain daily productivity reports.
6. Review and update process documentation regularly.
7. Review current processes and implement improvements as needed.
8. Read blueprints, specifications, and engineering changes.
9. Interact effectively with employees at all levels.
Experience / Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant work experience.
2. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks.
3. Strong communication skills (oral, written, presentation).
4. Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills.
5. High ethical standards and integrity.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
7. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Conduct detailed analysis of failed components to identify root causes.
2. Use non-destructive and destructive testing techniques to investigate failures.
3. Operate and maintain failure analysis equipment.
4. Analyze data and prepare reports on findings and recommendations.
5. Maintain accurate records and documentation.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external laboratories.
7. Support KPI metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
8. Stay updated with industry trends and techniques through professional development.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Degree in Physics or Electronics.
2. Relevant internship or placement experience.
3. Knowledge of electrical testing beneficial.
