Job Summary
As a Regulatory Support Officer, you will provide essential regulatory support services to facilitate the processing of Unmanned Aircraft (UA) applications and instruments. You will be the key touchpoint for applicants and members of the public, ensuring timely and professional processing of regulatory submissions.
Responsibilities
* Review and classify Unmanned Aircraft (UA) applications according to defined regulatory criteria to ensure accurate processing
* Coordinate with government agencies to facilitate smooth and timely application processing
* Maintain and update the permit tracking system to monitor application statuses effectively
* Support system upgrades by assisting in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure enhancements meet user needs
* Advise applicants and members of the public on the correct procedures for submitting UA regulatory instruments to improve compliance and reduce errors
Required competencies and certifications
* Minimum GCE ‘A’ Level certification or Diploma from a recognised institution
* Proficient in MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel for effective communication and documentation
* Strong organisational, coordination, and interpersonal skills to manage multiple tasks and liaise with stakeholders
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to meet deadlines and maintain workflow
* Experience in regulatory processing support work to handle application assessments and tracking
* Experience handling general enquiries from members of the public to provide clear and accurate guidance
Preferred competencies and qualifications
* Prior experience or knowledge of the Unmanned Aircraft (UA) / Drone industry to better understand regulatory context and applicant needs
