Fountains Lodge provides personalised nursing and residential care to people living with cognitive impairments, including dementia care. The purpose built home in Tunbridge Wells offers short stays too (including palliative care), to help both carers and their loved ones at times when they need a break or a little extra support.
All bedrooms are tastefully decorated and offer en suite facilities, while some come with patio doors providing direct garden access. It also has a suite suitable for couples.
The home has its own café as well as lounges and private dining areas for family and friends to come and enjoy when visiting their loved ones or celebrating a birthday or anniversary together.
Situated in Southborough, the home is a few minutes from all its amenities – shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs, and has good transport and road links, making it ideally located for visiting family and friends.
Staff take great care to focus on the person. Its important for residents to feel at home, so it creates a friendly environment with an individually appropriate balance of care and independence.
There’s a real sense of community at the home. The staff work to discover what residents enjoy doing and the home's social calendar is organised around those interests. So whether your loved one already has a hobby or would like to take up a new one, there are lots of exciting activities to get involved in.

Our waiting on staff play an important role as your presence during mealtimes is crucial. It ensures residents receive dignified, personalised attention, promotes social interaction, and contributes to overall well-being.
You’ll help us make health happen by:
1. Setting up tables in the restaurant
2. Serving in the restaurant at mealtimes
3. Preparing trays and providing room service to village residents who wish to stay in their rooms for meals
4. Ensuring that the restaurant and café are tidy and meet all high standards
5. Keeping the kitchen area clean and tidy at all times
6. You may also be asked to support other areas as required, such as serving meals to or removing trays from resident’s rooms, restocking resident’s personal kitchens or delivering refreshments.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
You are a person who cares deeply for others and is driven to make a significant impact on people's lives. With your background in customer service, and potentially some experience in catering or kitchen roles—though not essential as training is provided—you excel in communication. You thrive in a tight-knit team setting, engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Committed to providing outstanding service to our residents, you apply your expertise in upholding a clean, orderly, safe, and sanitary environment.
