At Sutton Health and Care, we're on a mission to deliver seamless, high-quality care right at the heart of the community. We're looking for a dedicated Children's Community Dietitian to join our friendly team at Green Wrythe Clinic.
What makes this role special
* You'll be part of a small, supportive team of 3 dietitians.
* You'll work closely with our Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Physiotherapists – all based in the same building, so collaboration really is part of daily life.
* All your clinics are run from Green Wrythe Clinic (no endless travelling around Sutton).
* Free on-site parking and just a short walk from St Helier Hospital.
* You'll have the option of flexible hours (8 to 4, 9 to 5 or something that works for you and the service).
* Training opportunities at Epsom and St Helier, so you can keep your skills sharp.
Main duties of the job
A typical week might include…
* Providing dietetic assessment, advice and monitoring for infants with suspected cow's milk allergy and general paediatrics.
* Supporting GPs and community teams with expert dietetic advice and ensuring cost-effective prescribing of hypoallergenic milk formulae and supplements.
* Guiding and supporting families, carers and healthcare professionals across both community and acute settings.
* Running GP audits and delivering training to GPs, pharmacists, health visitors and other healthcare professionals.

About you
We're looking for someone who:
* Is HCPC-registered with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.
* Has experience in paediatric nutrition (bonus points if you've worked with infants and families in a community setting).
* Brings excellent communication skills and a person-centred approach.
* Is confident working independently but enjoys being part of a team.

Essential criteria
* Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics
* HCPC Registration
Desirable criteria
* Post graduate level qualification / training in Dietetics
* Member of British Dietetic Association (BDA)
* Member of a special interest group (e.g. Paediatric Dietetics Groups
Experience
Essential criteria
* Experience in a range of clinical areas including paediatric nutrition
* Demonstrable ability to work in partnership with other professionals /agencies in a variety of settings.
Desirable criteria
* Relevant experience of working with infants and families
* Experience of working in the community setting
* Experience of undertaking clinical audit and evaluation
Skills Abillities and Knowledge
Essential criteria
* Ability to apply Dietetic skills across a range of clinical conditions.
* Ability to work as a team member and promote collaborative multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working.
