Vision for Education is excited to provide this bespoke and incredible opportunity to support passionate individuals in entering the education sector. We collaborate with our client schools to offer successful graduate Teachers high-quality training and paid on-the-job experience.
Following a successful interview and pending suitability, safeguarding, and identity checks, we will work to secure you a paid placement in a school to further develop your skills. We will assist you in establishing your identity as an educator and help you choose your specialist area in a secondary school environment.
Before starting your placement, you will complete a comprehensive training program delivered by Vision for Education, equipping you with essential skills to work as a Graduate Teacher.
Role responsibilities
Cover Supervisors play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of schools. Effective Graduate Teachers possess excellent communication skills and are passionate about supporting children’s day-to-day needs. They can build relationships with staff and students alike.
The specific duties of a Graduate Teacher vary by school. You may support the classroom teacher, take sole control of classes, run small group interventions, or work on a 1:1 basis to meet individual needs and promote student thriving.

We work with secondary schools that offer paid induction days for Graduate Cover Supervisors.
Requirements
To be considered for the Trainee Cover Supervisor role in Selby, you should:

* Have an enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service
