One of our clients is hiring an experienced and hands‑on District Manager to lead multiple restaurant locations across Sussex. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, improving business performance, and leading high‑performing teams across the district.
You will act as a key leader within the business, working closely with General Managers and store teams to deliver strong commercial results and exceptional customer experiences.

Your Role
As District Manager, you will oversee multiple restaurant locations, ensuring operational efficiency, strong financial performance, and team development. You will lead by example, coaching managers and driving a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Performance Management
* Own full district performance across sales, profitability, and operations
* Monitor and deliver KPIs including sales, labour, customer experience, and compliance
* Drive operational consistency and excellence across all locations
Leadership & Team Development
* Coach and develop General Managers and leadership teams
* Build strong succession pipelines and support career development
* Conduct performance reviews and implement development plans
People & Culture
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and high‑performance culture
* Lead employee engagement, retention, and recruitment initiatives
* Recognize and celebrate team achievements
* Manage district P&L, labour budgets, and cost controls
* Drive like‑for‑like sales growth and operational efficiency
* Identify opportunities for performance improvement
Compliance & Stakeholder Collaboration
* Ensure all locations meet legal, safety, and compliance standards
* Partner with support functions and senior leadership
* Maintain strong cross‑functional relationships
Your Profile
* Proven experience in multi‑site management within QSR, hospitality, or retail
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Experience managing P&L, labour planning, and operational KPIs
* Commercially driven with a results‑oriented mindset
* Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment
