As a member of the Global Supply Planning team at Pentland Brands, the Sourcing Supply Planner plays an important role in supporting seamless supply chain operations. The primary objective is to ensure the timely and complete delivery of goods, aligning with Pentland's overarching business objectives.
The role you'd play:
* Overseeing and coordinating activities within the supply chain; including managing purchase orders, production tracking, and ensuring the availability of goods to meet demand.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, addressing any issues that may arise in the sourcing process.
* Ensuring that goods are delivered on time and in full.
* Working with various departments to align objectives and optimise overall supply chain efficiency.
* Monitoring and managing key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Supporting our Made to Order (MTO) business with capacity planning, purchase order processing and production tracking.
* Investigating and correcting price discrepancies to improve working practices.
What you'd bring:
* Experience of end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, production, logistics, and distribution.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Analytical skills, and proficiency using SAP and Excel.
