We are seeking a committed and compassionate Geography Teacher to join a supportive SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school from January 2026. Duties as a Geography Teacher: Plan, prepare and deliver creative and engaging Geography lessons suited to students with SEMH needs Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities and emotional needs Foster a positive, structured and encouraging classroom atmosphere Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and reports Build strong, trusting relationships with students to support their learning and wellbeing Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to ensure consistency and care Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities and cross-curricular projects Ideal Geography Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Strong subject knowledge in Geography and experience teaching at secondary level Experience working with SEMH students or within a specialist setting (advantageous but not essential) Excellent communication, relationship-building and classroom management skills as a Geography Teacher.
