Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a large engineering manufacturer who are seeking a Technical Estimator to join their growing Technical & Commercial Team. This newly created role offers the opportunity to play a key part in delivering accurate product costings, quotations, and customer support for engineered products.
The Role
As Technical Estimator, you will be responsible for:
* Accurately costing engineered products.
* Preparing quotations and responding to customer enquiries and RFQs in a timely manner
* Interpreting technical drawings and customer requirements
* Gathering information from production, purchasing, engineering, and quality teams to feed into costing models
* Liaising with planning to confirm accurate lead times and priorities
* Developing, maintaining and improving costing tools
* Supporting trade compliance activities
