Ambitious, growing company is recruiting for a Degree qualified Principal Engineer with experience of managing multi-disciplinary teams to work in the defence sector.

Principal Engineer role could suit a Senior Engineer with experience of leading a small team who is ready to take the next step up into a bigger role

Key aspects of the Principal Engineer role include

1. Take charge of and lead project teams delivering electrical control systems, industrial software and electrical safety systems to customers in the defence sector
2. Have first class stakeholder engagement and management skills
3. Principal Engineer will initiate, oversee and lead all engineering activities on a project or group of projects
4. Knowledge of working to ISO 9001 standards is key
5. Oversee the activities of the team and help overcome problems by providing guidance
