The Role My client are seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor (minimum 2 years PQE) to join a growing and ambitious firm based in York. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded solicitor to take ownership of a varied caseload while working closely with an experienced Director. You will manage a broad range of commercial property matters from instruction to completion, including freehold sales and acquisitions, property transfers and refinancing, landlord and tenant matters, leases, conditional contracts, development agreements and overage arrangements. The role offers genuine responsibility, exposure to higher-value transactions and the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of the department.The Ideal Candidate We are looking for a personable and commercially astute solicitor with at least 2 years PQE in commercial property. You should be confident managing your own files with minimal supervision, while also working collaboratively within a team. Strong drafting and negotiation skills are essential, alongside the ability to handle competing deadlines and maintain excellent client service standards. You will be comfortable developing client relationships, supporting business development initiatives and playing an active role in the strategic growth of the department.
