Permanent Post.

Hours: 17.5 hours on average.

Work Pattern: Week 1: Monday and Tuesday - 14 hours; Week 2: Monday to Wednesday - 21 hours.

Salary: £12.82 - £13.78 per hour.

South Lanarkshire Council is looking for enthusiastic, motivated staff to support the learning and development of young children within our Early Learning and Childcare establishments.

You will work as an effective member of the Early Learning and Childcare Team, supporting the delivery of a high-quality service that supports children and staff and contributes to a positive ethos.

This post requires employees to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) as a support worker and to hold a relevant qualification. Candidates must have or be willing to obtain one of the following qualifications:

* NC in Early Education and Childcare at SCQF Level 6
* SVQ 2 Social Services (Children and Young People) at SCQF Level 6
* SVQ 2 Children's Care Learning and Development at SCQF Level 2

Support will be provided to successful candidates who do not hold a relevant qualification to obtain one.
