About the Role
We are recruiting a skilled Vehicle Repair Technician / Automotive Mechanical Specialist to join our professional workshop team.
The successful candidate will carry out advanced vehicle diagnostics, mechanical servicing, structural repair preparation, and electrical system fault analysis across multiple vehicle platforms.
This is a great opportunity for a technician looking to develop expertise in ADAS calibration, geometry alignment systems, electronic diagnostics, and modern vehicle repair technology within a high-quality independent workshop.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform advanced vehicle fault diagnosis using modern diagnostic software and manufacturer data systems
* Complete servicing and preventative maintenance across engine, drivetrain, braking, and suspension systems
* Carry out welding and structural repair preparation work when required
* Support ADAS calibration and vehicle geometry adjustment processes
* Conduct VOSA-standard pre-inspection repair preparation
* Maintain compliance with health, safety, and quality control standards
* Work on specialist fleet and emergency service vehicles including support fleet applications
* Maintain accurate digital repair records and technical documentation
About You
* Minimum 2 years' experience working as an automotive technician
* Strong diagnostic and mechanical fault-finding capability
* Experience using modern workshop diagnostic software
* Full UK driving licence (C1 licence beneficial but not essential)
* Strong understanding of automotive electrical and mechanical systems
* Reliable, professional, and quality-driven work ethic
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small specialist team
