Nursery Manager - Up to £55,000 Package
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education and childcare, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills. This role requires effective communication with staff, children, and parents, ensuring a nurturing and safe environment for all children in our care.
Duties
* Manage the overall operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
* Lead and support a team of childcare professionals, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
* Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote children's development and learning.
* Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress, addressing any concerns or queries.
* Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and any incidents that occur within the nursery.
* Ensure the nursery is well-resourced and that all equipment is safe and suitable for use.
* Drive initiatives to enhance the quality of care provided, ensuring that best practices are followed at all times.
Qualifications
* Minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualifications and experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting.
* Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare are highly desirable.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
* A genuine passion for working with young children and fostering their growth and development.
* Ability to drive initiatives that improve the quality of care within the nursery setting.
