Teacher of English, Winchburgh Academy, 35 hours per week, Permanent, Closing Date 21st May 2025

Winchburgh Academy is a new state-of-the-art secondary school which opened in August 2022, designed to ensure twenty-first-century learning, immersed in creativity and digital technologies. The school also boasts sports facilities of the highest standard, including sports halls, a 25m swimming pool, and artificial grass outdoor pitches.
Initially, the school opened with a S1 cohort, and the roll is expected to rise year on year to reach its initial capacity of 660 pupils by 2028. The school roll is anticipated to be 260 students (S1-S4) in August 2025. A future expansion strategy has been considered, potentially increasing the school roll up to a maximum capacity of 1,210 pupils. In August 2025, the school will have approximately 20 teaching staff.
