A global Ecommerce and Media agency are looking to bring in an Ecommerce Director for a brand new role within their structure. Ecommerce is a tier 1 strategy for the business globally so this will come with excellent levels of exposure to senior management cross functionally within the organisation and on a global level - so this is a great opportunity for a real over achiever and ecommerce fanatic, and someone who is passionate about developing and growing their skillset and career simultaneously with the business unit - and wants to have a profound and positive effect on the company as a whole This is a super interesting role as it's a brand new level for this brand within the agencies ecosystem, however, it's a level which has been implemented in different brands within the business and it works really well. The role will oversee a team of 2 from day one and will have responsibility for working cross functionally with multiple business units and senior stakeholders both internally and externally. By it's very nature this role is strategic and will partner closely with the client(s) it works with across Skincare, household and alcohol sectors to develop their ecommerce growth strategy across all 3rd party ecommerce channels including Amazon and e-grocery (through Criteo and Citrus ads). The role will take ownership of the EMEA strategy, however, there is scope for a truly global remit for those with the appetite and aptitude to take this additional responsibility on. The Role: ● Senior client lead, overseeing day-to-day management of tier 1 clients, ensuring incredible service, communication and expectation management is delivered constantly. ● Partner with clients to fully understand their full ecommerce business and strategy - work as an extension of their business to recommend short, medium and long term plans to achieve their goals. ● Brief Activation and execution teams based on client's long, medium and short terms goals. ● Identify and proactively purse client growth opportunities, including new commercial opportunities, such as cross-selling and upselling across the business. ● Support and oversee the development of Business Plans and roadmaps for your clients. ● Be a subject matter expert across all things ecommerce including tools and software - to continue to develop, upskill and support execution and activation teams and ensure best practice is being followed by channel specialist teams ● Be able to condense complex technical ecommerce briefs into smaller more understanable briefs for clients - who may not be as technically savvy. ● Be the subject matter expert and contribute to new business pitches, contributing to converting warm leads, and generating warm leads for different business units. The Successful Ecommerce Director Will Have fantastic knowledge and experience across all things ecommerce, including Amazon, e-Grocery, Criteo and Citrus Ads. Be an expert in ecommerce activation and execution, but ready for a strategic and client advisory position. Be from an ecommerce Agency background, the reason being the experience in external stakeholder management is vital. You will be instructing multiple stakeholders internally and externally across multiple projects and platforms simultaneously. Be commercially minded, be able to spot opportunities to help grow the business as a whole - spotting cross selling and upselling opportunities. Love communicating at all levels and breaking down complex briefs down into digestible and understandable chunks for less technically sound or experienced stake holders (internally and externally) Be able to commute to the office 3 days a week, based in Central London Lots of exciting work to be done in this business and a real opportunity to have senior leadership exposure on a global scale
