The shift pattern will be Monday to Friday, office hours.
This is a fixed term post for 23 months.
Commodity Team Graduate Procurement Roles (Band 5 Annex 21)
In this role you will join our Commercial Team, where you are responsible for implementing national contracts tendered by National Procurement on behalf of Health Boards, as well as undertaking essential local contracting and tendering activities. Your work is key to ensuring legal compliance while creating savings opportunities that drive the Sustainability & Value Programme.
These positions are ideal for graduates who would like to pursue a career as a professional, offering opportunities to deepen their knowledge and attain procurement qualifications.
* Implement national contracts for NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
* Develop and execute local contracting and tendering activities.
* Ensure legal compliance and support sustainability & value initiatives.
* Assist in obtaining procurement qualifications.
* Participate in a comprehensive training programme lasting up to 23 months.
