We’re seeking a Civil Engineer to be based in Somerset, PA. In this role, this individual will gain hands-on experience working on a wide variety of projects- including mining sites, power generation (wind, solar, and power plants), industrial/commercial/and residential developments, and more. This civil engineer will work closely with experienced professionals who are committed to mentorship and supporting long-term career growth. Your Responsibilities as an Entry Level Civil Engineer: Execute detailed and conceptual engineering design. Design and plan preparation for projects relating to land development, stormwater management, erosion, and sediment control, paving and grating plans, and various other engineering projects. Coordinate with project team to develop design plans, technical specifications, cost estimates, calculations, and reports. Assist in the preparation of proposals. Assist in the permit application process. Actively develop your own career growth. What we're looking for: BA/BS in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field. EIT preferred. 1 to 5 years of related experience. Proficiency with MS Office suite, AutoCAD, and the add-on program Civil 3D preferred. Excellent technical communication skills and strong attention to detail. Good safety record and understanding of safe work practices.
