What you will do:
1. Lead and own the go-to-market strategy and roadmap for the SME and Retail Banking segments, aligning marketing activity to business objectives and OKRs
2. Act as the primary marketing connector into retail and business banking, ensuring strong two-way alignment between frontline, propositions and marketing
3. Develop and manage segment-level OKRs and growth plans, driving clear priorities and measurable outcomes for marketing
4. Build strong trusted relationships with sales, product and proposition leaders, influencing and aligning around shared customer and business goals
5. Support the Head of Segments and Customer to ensure consistency, alignment and integration cross all segment strategies
6. Work closely with Marketing team peers and colleagues (brand, content, digital, partnerships) to ensure SME and Retail GTM plans align with overall marketing strategy and leverage cross-channel expertise
7. Partner with the Head of Channels and Delivery to ensure the roadmap is prioritised, resourced and executed efficiently across paid owned and earned channels
8. Champion customer understanding and market relevance, ensuring all marketing activity addresses real customer needs and drives meaningful engagement
9. Track and report on performance against OKRs, providing insight and recommendations to continuously improve marketing effectiveness and impact

What you will need:
10. Solid marketing, segment strategy and/or customer strategy roles, ideally within financial services or other complex B2B sectors
11. Proven experience developing and executing GTM strategies for customer or business segments
12. Strong experience collaborating across marketing, sales and product functions to drive shared outcomes
13. Demonstrated success in delivering measurable growth targeted segment-led marketing activity
14. Strong strategic marketing leadership with deep understanding of business and retail banking audiences
15. Excellent relationship builder, able to influence and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders across sales, product and marketing
16. Proven ability to translate business goals and insight into actionable GTM plans
17. Commercially mindset and data-driven skillset, with a focus on delivering measurable growth
