Sea Global are proud to be supporting a key client in the public sector who is looking to recruit a Procurement Manager into the team. This opportunity comes at an exciting time, as the procurement function undergoes significant transformation.
This role will lead complex and high-value procurement activity across a broad range of categories. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping sourcing strategies, driving legislative compliance, managing risk, and delivering measurable commercial and social value outcomes.
They are seeking an experienced procurement professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys influencing senior stakeholders, and wants to contribute to building a modern, high-performing procurement function.

Role & Responsibilities
* Lead on complex, high-value procurements from development through to contract award.
* Manage and lead on full end-to-end tenders.
* Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned to business goals.
* Provide advice on best practice compliance across Procurement Act 2023 and Public Contract Regulations 2015.
* Negotiate terms with suppliers, ensuring risk mitigation and sustainable outcomes.
* Work with internal and external suppliers and stakeholders across the business functions.
Experience & Requirements
* Proven experience delivering end-to-end procurements and tenders.
* Highly knowledageable of public procurement regulations (PCR15/PA23).
* Can manage multiple priorities at once and has strong stakeholder management skills.
* MCIPS or working towards (desirable but not essential)
