TMF is delighted to confirm that on 1st April it joined Enable, one of Scotland’s leading charities who has been championing the rights of individuals for over 70 years. Enable’s mission is to work for an equal society where everyone has the right to live, work and participate in the communities of their choice. Across the charity’s three pillars, they deliver self-directed health and social care support with Enable Cares; employability and training services with Enable Works; and community projects and campaigns with Enable Communities.
The assist service is a housing support service based in Bridgeton and we currently support up to 76 people each week, across the Glasgow areas To access there forever home, and to support them to learn and develop the skills they need to Maintain a suitable and secure Tenancy, transition in to independent living, providing practical and emotional support as well as support to access further education and employment
Hi, I'm L and I currently live in temporary accommodation. I am care experienced and a student within College, i am in the process of securing my own home and need Support to do this. I have a good network of friends but no family support
I have Suffered trauma in life and at times this affects my ability to trust people.
I enjoy a variety of activities like playing football and i love learning to read and write in English, together we can make these moment even more enjoyable
When it comes to supporting me, i require someone who can help me with daily tasks if required, applying for housing and supporting me to set up my new forever home. I may also need you to support me to appointments and assist me to register with medical professionals. it is important to me that you have good values, Patience and can show empathy

The Asist service is looking for a kind, compassionate and empathetic person, who would love to support and encourage people make positive changes in their life journey, the successful candidate must be reliable and enthusiastic about helping others.

If successful but unqualified, you will have to work towards a suitable qualification for a post at this level, in line with the SSSC Regulatory requirements but don’t worry we will support you with this.
