About the role
As a Specification Sales Manager, you'll manage and develop relationships with Consultants while identifying and securing new business opportunities in London area. You will promote Carrier solutions by providing product, design, and technical support, ensuring correct application and compliance with industry legislation. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, maintaining regular customer contact, securing orders, and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction, alongside reporting progress and gathering market and competitor intelligence.
As a Specification Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
1. Effective Management of nominated & geographical mechanical consultants
2. Targeting and identifying new/potential customers (M&E Consultants, Architects, Developers.)
3. Promoting and offering product and project design support
4. Achieving sales targets and developing new business
5. Offer guidance and assistance on the correct use and application of our products
6. Offering industry knowledge and guidance on legislation to ensure future protection
7. Preparing a weekly/monthly update report charting customer progress and highlight new business to your line Manager
8. Ensuring regular customer contact
9. Securing orders and developing enquiries
10. Satisfying customer requirements
11. Collecting and reporting industry knowledge and competitor analysis
What we are looking for:
12. Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with Consultants, M&E contractors, Architects and AC contractors.
13. Technical knowledge of VRF and split systems or chillers.
14. Sales background in HVAC or similar area (experience with VRFs, chillers or DX will be an asset).
15. Competitor knowledge
16. UK Driving Licence
17. IT Literate with MS Office skills
18. Good Communication & Negotiating skills
19. Ability to work in the team

Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between £42,000.00-£84,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
