I am working with an exceptional business who currently are looking to expand their technical team by bringing in an experienced Controls and Automation engineer
What you will be doing:
* Designing and commissioning of software and associated hardware on new equipment or updating on existing automated machinery
* Testing of machine safety and related control systems
* Modifying machine control elements in safety, electrical design and communication protocols
* Creating and modifying automated software sequences
* Designing the controls, electrical and safety associated with the production facility
* Working together with installation teams/contractors to ensure installation of new assets are in and working on time
Skills Experience
* It’s expected that the successful individual will be educated to a suitable level, either degree qualified or to HNC level 4
* You must be able to show a good level of experience working successfully as a Controls and Automation Engineer
* Have a good understanding of Electrical, Automation and fluid power systems
* Comprehensive experience of working with Siemens S7 / Siemens Simatic manager
