Location: RNLI College, Poole, BH15 1HZ Pay: £28,917.34/year Hours: Permanent, 40 hours/week Shift times: Evening & Weekend availability required. Shift times range from 6.30 am – midnight. We’re looking for a Food & Beverage Duty Manager to join our team at our client site in Poole to help create a welcoming space for our customers. What you’ll do: Report & where necessary take action for any incidents of fire, loss, theft, damage, unfit food or other irregularities. Have a very high standard for cleanliness & attention to detail, in all areas of the site (including both back & front of house). To assist in the service of food & beverages in all areas. This includes Restaurant, Bar and Conference and Banqueting. To operate all till systems as requested. To assist in cleaning duties as required in support of the business requirements. Management of restaurant booking system Correct menus, prices, descriptions, Allergens, displayed on time at the right place. To verify all cash up processes at end of each shift in Bar, Restaurant, Functions and Reception Control of stock, Client & Company Assets, ensuring all stock rooms are secure and access given to those that need it. To liaise with customers, client and staff and ensure all business requirements are met to the highest possible standards. To be a point of comment and contact for customers and to ensure all customers are aware of what is available to them. To be a point of reference to staff, ensuring that the customers’ needs always come first, ensuring their Health & Safety and correct business practices are adhered to. To deal with complaints or negative feedback immediately and in a manner such that empowerment diffuses any complaint at the point at which it occurs. What we’re looking for: Coaching & training colleagues. Manage time keeping & attendance. Knowledge of food handling. Attention to detail. Able to communicate and lead teams and individuals. Excellent communication skills, well organised, self-motivated, customer service oriented. Capable of flexible attitude to various roles in each department. Problem solver with a can-do attitude.
