About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivatedSenior Engineerto join our multi-disciplinary Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Building Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in delivering high-quality engineering design and consultancy services across a diverse portfolio of projects.
You will be responsible for providing expert technical advice, leading discipline-specific design work, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest professional standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design and technical delivery of M&E building services projects
* Provide consultancy services including site surveys, feasibility studies, due diligence, and technical reporting
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and cost targets are met
* Act as discipline lead on projects where required
* Coordinate effectively with internal teams, external consultants, and clients
* Attend and lead meetings, providing clear and professional updates and reports
* Prepare and review technical documentation including specifications, calculations, and schedules
* Conduct site inspections, condition surveys, and defect analysis
* Support commissioning activities and review as-fitted drawings and O&M documentation
* Identify and manage project risks, including producing MEP residual risk reports in line with CDM regulations
* Promote sustainability and energy-efficient design solutions
* Mentor and support junior engineers, graduates, and trainees
* Contribute to business development activities, including fee proposals and technical bids

* Proven experience in an engineering role within M&E building services
* Proven experience working in consultancy
* Strong technical design and report writing skills
* Ability to manage workload independently with minimal supervision
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills
* Strong understanding of project cost control and commercial awareness
