Electrician
Location: HMP Littlehey - Huntingdon, Perry PE28 0SR
Salary: £39,579.20 plus £1,000 in RRA per annum and a 5% shift allowance
Contract: Full time/Permanent
We are seeking a dedicated fully qualified Electrician to join our team at HMP Littlehey, a Category C and YOI prison. The role requires working Monday‑Sunday as part of a supportive and driven family to create a safe and nurturing environment.
As an Electrician, you will work alongside experienced colleagues across multiple trades to maintain and improve electrical systems in a prison setting.
Qualifications
* Certificate in BS7671:2018 (18th edition)
* Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or Electrotechnical Services (City & Guilds/EAL), including relevant NVQs and competency assessments (AM2/AM2S), e.g., 2367 or 2357.
* Two years’ experience as a fully qualified electrician
* Experience on commercial or industrial electrical systems
* Good working knowledge of planned and preventive maintenance operations
* Good Health & Safety knowledge
* Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
