This position is at an SEMH School in Basingstoke. They are looking for someone to start after the Easter holidays.
The school provides education for secondary aged students.
As class teacher your responsibilities will include:
* Teaching a variety of subjects across the board
* Maintaining the atmosphere of the class and its physical surrounding suitable to the tasks to be undertaken;
* Planning lessons appropriately;
* Maintaining clear records and tracking, in accordance with statutory and college requirements;
* Maintaining good discipline;
* Liaising with colleagues and parents;
* Managing a team of support staff
Person specification
Essential
* Committed individual with a deep understanding of special needs/ SEMH
* Self-motivated and imaginative.
* Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and parents.
* Flexible and positive attitude to work.
* Capacity to deliver the curriculum in an artistic and creative manner.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
