The Role
We are looking for a Python Developer to join our growing development team, helping to design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications across our clients. You would also be required to collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement effective solutions.
Required Skills
* Strong proficiency in Python (3.x)
* Experience using data manipulation libraries
* Experience implementing Python unit testing frameworks with Docker
* Experience in deploying and maintaining solutions in AWS using Github Actions
* Commercial C# and .NET experience
* Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
* Experience with version control systems (preferably Git) and associated CI/CD tooling
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
Desirable Skills
* Multi-tier architecture and design patterns
* Good understanding of the full software development lifecycle
* Experience in reinsurance or capital markets
* Experience with Azure technologies such as Azure Apps
* Awareness of security best practices in application development

* Excellent communication skills with all stakeholders
* Good organisation, planning, and time management
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent problem-solving ability
* A strong desire to learn and explore new technical challenges
Educational Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience
