Our stunning care home, Grosvenor Manor Care Centre, is a purpose-built care facility located in Great Boughton, Chester. The home is registered to provide care to 81 residents with diverse needs, including residential, nursing, and dementia care. Grosvenor Manor is rated OUTSTANDING in Responsive and GOOD in all other domains by CQC, with a 5-star EHO rating. We maintain a great location and a strong local reputation. For over 5 years, we have operated with zero agency usage, employing a permanent staff team to ensure continuity and trusted relationships with residents. All staff are paid at least the national minimum wage.
We are seeking to appoint compassionate Care Assistants
to deliver quality care in line with individual Care Plans, contributing to the efficient running of the home. This is a full-time position offering an hourly rate of £12.25. Shift times are 07:45 to 20:00, with alternate weekends.
Role Responsibilities:
* Provide hands-on, person-centered care to residents.
* Support residents to enjoy a good quality of life.
* Model best practices in care delivery.
* Assist with physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in accordance with care plans.
* Maintain accurate daily records of residents.
* Work effectively within a team and undertake delegated tasks efficiently.
* Promote and safeguard the welfare of residents and others.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Experience as a Care Assistant is preferred.
* Care certificate or willingness to achieve within 12 months.
* Good knowledge of care practices for older adults.
* Understanding of the 6 principles of care and their application.
* Ability to work well in a team.
* Self-motivated and confident.
