* Salary: FC10 £55,263.09 - £60,462.77

Responsibilities
* Provide professional and technical leadership in developing and implementing efficient management functions for major road bridges and transportation structures in Fife.
* Oversee the development of forward design and construction programmes, ensuring budget adherence and effective control.
* Serve as the Technical Approval Authority for Highway Structures in accordance with the DMRB.
* Lead the programme of structural inspections, including the integration of digital improvements.
* Stay ahead of new legislation, best practices, and technical standards, leading the development of innovative responses and strategies.

The Person
* You are a visionary leader with a passion for digital transformation and a strong background in civil or structural engineering. You are a Chartered Engineer with extensive experience in Bridges and Structures.
* Honours Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (SCQF level 10) or equivalent.
* Chartered status with a relevant professional body (MICE / MCHIT / MI StructE / MCIWEM).
* Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, promoting a positive culture in the workplace.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to manage conflicting demands effectively.
* Extensive knowledge of civil engineering specifications, contract management, and health and safety legislation.
* Experience in preparing and managing project plans and programmes, with a focus on digital integration.
