About the Role
We are seeking an Assistant Garment Technologist to support our Garment Technology Team by managing administrative tasks throughout the production process. The role involves working closely with designers, manufacturers, and production teams to ensure products meet quality, fit, and production standards while adhering to delivery schedules.
Responsibilities
1. Ensure proto, fit, and Gold Seal samples meet specifications and brand standards.
2. Support the team with fit comments, specifications, and amendments, communicating clearly with the supply base.
3. Assist with testing reports for fabrics, yarns, interlinings, trims, and artwork at the proto stage.
4. Coordinate bulk and garment testing to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
5. Conduct wearer trials on new fabrics or styles and take appropriate actions.
6. Visit warehouses and stores regularly to assess quality and compliance, perform AQL inspections, and review quality reports.
7. Participate in fit reviews to ensure consistent and correct fit across collections.
8. Build strong relationships with internal teams and suppliers.
9. Maintain organized departmental files and workstation cleanliness.
