Full-Time Qualified Level 2/3 BSL Learning Support Assistant – Wokingham

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Wokingham to recruit a dedicated Level 2/3 BSL Qualified Learning Support Assistant. This is a full-time position starting on 17th October, supporting deaf children within the classroom and across the school.
Role Overview:
Provide tailored support for deaf pupils to ensure equal access to the curriculum
Use British Sign Language (BSL) to aid communication and understanding
Work alongside class teachers and the SEN team to create an inclusive learning environment
Support pupils’ social and emotional development as well as academic progress
What we’re looking for:
A qualified Level 2/3 BSL Learning Support Assistant (essential)
Previous experience supporting children with hearing impairments is desirable
Someone who is patient, empathetic, and passionate about inclusive education
A team player who can also work independently when needed
