About the Role

EdShift is an arts‑based charity supporting children and young people affected by domestic abuse through creative, trauma‑informed, and relational practice. The Programme Lead will coordinate and strengthen delivery across our SpotLight (early intervention) and InTouch (Tier 1 youth provision) programmes. This practice‑led, non‑clinical role combines a small caseload with practitioner support, safeguarding oversight, school relationship management, programme coordination, and monitoring responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities

* Hold a small caseload of children and young people affected by domestic abuse, delivering creative, trauma‑informed early intervention support.
* Provide regular support and supervision to Community Practitioners, promoting reflective, safe, and accountable practice.
* Coordinate the InTouch Youth Club, supporting engagement and continuity for children stepping into or out of services.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with schools and partner agencies.
* Contribute to safeguarding, case management, MARAC, and DRAMM processes.
* Support monitoring, evaluation, and data collection alongside the Data & Referrals Coordinator.
* Participate in case allocation, programme development, and organisational learning while maintaining accurate records and contributing to EdShift's values‑led, relational approach.
* Attend to administrative tasks, including accurate record‑keeping and reporting.


Required Qualifications and Experience

* Experience working with children and young people affected by domestic abuse, trauma, or adversity.
* Strong safeguarding knowledge, including dynamic risk assessment, child protection processes, and multi‑agency working (MARAC, DRAMM).
* Experience supporting or supervising staff within a reflective and relational environment.
* Ability to coordinate multiple responsibilities, including practitioner oversight, school partnerships, safeguarding processes, and programme coordination.
* Strong organisational, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
* Experience contributing to monitoring, evaluation, and outcome‑focused practice.
* Commitment to trauma‑informed, arts‑based, and child‑centred approaches aligned with EdShift's values of Creativity, Courage, Safety, and Connection.


Details

Hours: 26 hours per week. Contract: Fixed‑term (up to 3 years), subject to funding. This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
