Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Operator
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Operator to join our team in Swindon. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating aseptic filling lines, preparing and testing modules, and working with small and large-scale compounding systems.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Formulating pharmaceuticals using bespoke manufacturing skids and vessel systems.
2. Performing manufacturing, filling, and operational duties efficiently.
3. Ensuring equipment is correctly set up to minimise downtime, product damage, and waste.
4. Monitoring equipment status, reporting faults, and maintaining clean rooms and equipment.
5. Sterilising equipment using airlocks before use.
6. Communicating non-conformance issues to supervisors or QA.
7. Utilising SAP and quality systems for GMP compliance, including report writing.
8. Conducting environmental monitoring in clean rooms as per procedures.
Qualifications:
* GCSE Maths and English (minimum Grade C).
* Basic computer skills.
* Previous experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
This is a temporary, full-time position with rotating shifts: one week from 7am to 3pm, followed by a week from 3pm to 11pm. The hourly rate is £15.64, with an initial rate of £13.28 before a 22% shift allowance, which applies after training. Shift pattern involves working on a double days schedule (Monday to Friday).
