What you’ll be doing:
* Lead a small team of food managers to oversee the grocery shop floor in one of our supermarkets.
* Coordinate exciting trading events by collaborating closely with the store leadership team, especially during festive seasons like Christmas or Easter, to ensure success.
* Take full accountability for the store in the absence of the store manager, role modeling and coaching for high standards and efficiency across the food hall.
* Manage compliance with processes and safety regulations while fostering a passion for excellent shopkeeping and creating fantastic shopping experiences.
* Oversee a large team of colleagues, ensuring they perform at their best, are present on the shop floor when needed, and that all people management matters are handled appropriately, including celebrating successes and managing difficult situations.
