An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed and knowledgeable Deputy SENCo to join a thriving secondary school in Wellingborough. This permanent role offers the chance to play a key part in shaping inclusive education and delivering positive outcomes for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
* Support the SENCo in leading SEND provision across the school
* Deliver and monitor effective intervention strategies and tailored support plans
* Collaborate with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure student needs are met
* Promote a nurturing and inclusive school culture
* Monitor and evaluate student progress and wellbeing
* Model high expectations and inclusive practice across the curriculum
* Hold a degree or equivalent qualification
* Have a deep understanding of SEND legislation, needs and strategies
* Demonstrate a successful track record of supporting SEND pupils to achieve positive outcomes
* Be a reflective and inspiring classroom practitioner
* Set high expectations and serve as a positive role model for students and staff
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
